This morning I decided to make something diffrent so I made some french toast, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. My family was so suprised. I hadnt made french toast in a long time.
French Toast brings a smile:
8 slices of bread
A bowl,
a pinch of salt and pepper,
3 tbsp. of milk if u want ur base thick, if u want it thinner add more milk, 1/3 c. also depending on the size of bread.
optional (for flavor 1/2 tsp of vanilla)
Beat this all together and place the slices of bread in liquid mixture then turn the bread over so that the other side can pick up egg coating. Do not let bread sit in there for a long time, and become soggy.
Take bread after dipping in egg coating and place in pan make sure you have a light coating of oil, turn on low heat so not to get them to brown on the outside to fast. Place each slice one at a time in the pan, let it cook for about 3 minutes depending on your pan and stove heat. Turn to the other side and do the same. Place on a plate cut in triangle slices or long strips of 3. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, just a small amount is needed. Then sprinkle with your favorite syrup. You are ready to serve.
Remember that you might have more egg mixture left over to make, it all depends on the size of your eggs and the size of bread you are using.
