Family Traditions

My favorite Thanksgiving is a traditional one. I love my turkey roasted, my grandma always made two dressings (bread & cornbread), sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, greenbean casserole, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, banana pudding. I have noticed there are so many ways to make these dishes and change them up. But as for me I want the origional. I dont mind introducing a new dish here and there but i still have to have the same dishes. I did change one thing up this year I brined my turkey the day before. Your saying whats brine, well its a liquid of flavors and seasonings that you actually soak your turkey in. This made my turkey so juicy and mouthwatering that I will make this a new tradition.

I was to tired to post this yester day and to busy to stop and type anything. Because I made thanksgiving dinner for about 11 people. Then I cooked another thanksgiving dinner for 8 people. I love cooking and it a way that i can show and share my love. So I hope you made some awesome memories and traditions that will last in everyones heart for many years to come. I know that my boys will either hold on to our traditions for years to come and they will make some! So go cook up some love because I know I am!
